Meet Our Team Our team consists of a principal application architect, a business lead, and several domain experts specializing in speech, financial, audio/video, and other industries. We are also fortunate to have a panel of highly accomplished outside advisors who counsel on our business and technology.
Jike ChongFounder and Principal Application Architect “With multicore and manycore parallel computing, the future of computing is here today. Those who take advantage of these new capabilities have a dominating advantage over their peers. My passion is to help businesses use these new technologies to achieve higher speed, accuracy, and lower cost.” Jike Chong Is the Founder and Principal Application Architect at Parasians. Devoting much of the past decade to parallel computing aiming at reducing existing computational costs and creating space for new application models, his work led to several granted patents in hardware and software parallel computing technologies. Jike focuses on automatic speech recognition and computational finance as key parallel application areas, and collaborates with domain experts in several other areas. Jike earned his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, the Management of Technology (MOT) Certificate from Haas Business School at Berkeley, and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from University of California, Berkeley. Jike is a frequently invited speaker at parallel computing and super computing conferences. He currently also holds the role of Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, where he focus on establishing the University as a Center of Excellence for research in parallel computing. |
Matthew DixonLead Domain Expert “In the financial industry, time really is money, and speed matters a great deal. With data growing at exponential rates in enterprises, being able to process data and gain insight from it fast… take minutes instead of hours, means faster pricing, risk analysis, and ultimately decision making.” Matthew is also a frequently invited speaker at parallel computing and super computing conferences, and recently chaired the 3rd Annual Workshop on High Performance Computational Finance(WHPCF 2010), in conjunction with SC, the premier conference in high performance computing Supercomputing 2010. |
Yue Cathy Chang![]() Founder and Business Development Partner “Technology investments are motivated by business needs and potential return (ROI). Businesses across industries are attracted by parallel computing driven accelerations realized by early adopters, and may overlook the associated costs and complexities. My focus is to help them prepare at a fraction of deployment costs to save time, money, and lost opportunity.” Yue Cathy Chang brings results, focus and strategic thinking to identifying opportunities with prospective clients and partners. Cathy started her career in multicore high-performance microprocessor design and holds a patent for SUN/Oracle Niagara II logic design. Her technical background and experience in enterprise software sales, product management and marketing enable a unique sales execution alignment with marketing strategy. Cathy is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Leaders of Global Operations Program (LGO, formerly LFM), earning an M.S. in Engineering Systems and an MBA. She also earned a B.S. and a M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. |
